The Christmas Log Cake from this Japanese bakery chain is very pretty and the baker has obviously taken great care in decorating it. The logcake is priced at $46.80/kg but with 10% discount, the amount paid was $42.10. The cake's texture was excellent and we loved the rich chocolatey taste. The cream frosting was also lighter than that of most log cakes. However the logcake contained more cream than I would have liked, but perhaps this was typical of most products of Japanese bakeries. For logcakes in the $40-$50 price range, I would rate Four Leaves Bakery's Christmas Log Cake 4/5 for its looks, 3.75/5 for taste and 3.5/5 for value.
