In Singapore's hot weather, who can resist a nice cold cup of gelato?Though it's made right here in Singapore, the gelato at Haato & Co. follows Japanese recipes and uses all natural ingredients. The result is very yummy and the price isn't bad either!One scoop of gelato costs $4.50 or two scoops costs $5.50. Not only is the 2 scoops a better value, but then you can choose 2 flavours from their extensive selection. They look so good it's hard to choose, but this time I went with the green tea and french vanilla caramel. Both flavors tasted rich and creamy without being overpoweringly sweet, and you can taste that they are made from high-quality ingredients. 2 scoops is also the perfect amount to share with another person.There are a few Haato & Co. locations, most notably at Clarke Quay, but I like the Ridgewood Close location because it's so quiet and beside a park. It's a great place for a date!

These sliced cakes are one of my favourite chocolate cake. The chocolate sponge cake is very moist and soft, which you almost feel like 'melt in your mouth' during every mouthful of it. The dark chocolate layers are really thick and not too sweet, which is quite ideal for those who do not really like to eat too sweet cakes. The restaurant is quit cosy and comfortable, and is suitable for a good chat with friends and have some really nice sliced cakes and tea.

My all-time favourite ice cream and ice cream flavor! The hazelnut taste is not too strong. With every lick on the soft, fresh and cooling Haato Ice Cream, it makes your mood turns sweet and cheery. It is a great food to be eaten during hot weather and a comfort food. However, I eat it almost every other day. $4.50 for single scoop and $5.50 for double scoop.
