This stall's specialty is La Mian and you can find dishes such as the standard Ban Mian ($4.20) on their menu. There are also a variety of "flavours" or "add-ons" available, such as the Chicken Cutlet Ban Mian ($4.70), Dumpling La Mian ($4.70), or Seafood Tom Yam Ban Mian ($6.00). I opted for the Vegetable Mee Hoon Kuay ($4.20).Vegetable Mee Hoon Kuay ($4.20)This was a simple dish of Mee Hoon Kuay with vegetables, an egg, and a topping of crispy and tasty ikan bilis. The soup tasted quite mild but it wasn't oily and actually felt quite healthy. The flat noodle was quite smooth although it had the tendency to stick together, but funnily enough, I preferred it that way since it was more chewy. At first glance, I thought the vegetable portion was meager but there was actually quite a fair amount in it. There was also a generous amount of flat noodle given. I was quite filled by the end of the meal. Overall, this was quite decent and I'd love to try their other dishes, such as the Ban Mian or Chicken Cutlet Ban Mian as well in the future.
