He Cheng Cheng Tng (已結業)

Ordered a cold Cheng Tng from this stall as a heat-queller (it certainly works, after 2 spoons of it!). Good dessert! It was not overly sweet, even after all the ice had melted! There was a satisfactory amount of jelly-like substances, along with bits of sweet potato in it. AND, the price was sweet - $1!!! I was tempted to get another bowl, but overeating would spoil its magic, wouldn't it?Total Cost: Cheng Tng - $1

I wanted a dessert after dinner. I tried the red ruby dessert but i ended up feeling disappointed. It has very little and diluted coconut taste. The water chestnut in those rubies did not have the crunchiness that i liked. The outer layer of those rubies did not have the chewy texture too. Those colorful 'tadpole eggs' were just for decoration purpose and no taste on its own.
