Tonight I am invited to attend Nee Soon East National Day Dinner. One can also purchase tickets to attend the dinner at $25 per person. The dinner is catered by Hup Seng Hng Restaurant.Rainbow Cold Dish Combination PlatterNeptune Shark's FinThe stock used to cook the soup is very flavourful.Chestnut ChickenThe chicken is very tender and easily tear from the bones. The chestnut stuffed inside tastes very soft and melt in the mouth.Ngo Hiang Prawn RollThe Achar that serves with this dish is very spicy and crunchy.Scallop Fried VeggieIt is a very interesting. Inside the well braised cabbage, stuffed very soft and melt in the mouth garlic. Steamed GaroupaIt is the third dish on the menu, but somehow ends up serving much later. Salad PrawnInterestingly this dish is served with cubed watermelon and honeydew. Braised Pork in BunsThe fatty thick slice of pork is very tender. One will not feel gelat after eating it.We end the meal with Longan Pudding. Overall the food is not bad. Service is a bit rush. The aunties rushing to clear the plates, maybe to make sure they can knock off on time. Food not served in order.
