This Kampong Chicken restaurant has been serving up yellow chicken rice for quite a long time - and many old folks still regard it as one of the " best kampong chicken rice" stalls around.If you've not tried kampong chicken before, the meat is actually quite different from the normal white chicken variety. The chickens are usually smaller but also with less fats, so you feel that you are eating somewhat healthier chicken rice. It's also a bit firmer and drier than normal but tastes just as good. The recipe they use here is said to have yellow ginger which makes the skin of the chicken even more yellow and striking.The only problem is its location - it is quite a distance from Outram MRT and even if you drive, there are limited parking lots along the road.
