I had tried this quite a long time ago and found it to be one of the best laksas I've tasted. It also claimed to be one of the original katong laksas that has been around for decades. The soup had just the right amount of coconut and spices. The prawns were fresh and at $3 a bowl, the portion was larger than 328 katong laksa. However, the next day my friend and I got diarrhoea which we suspected that we had gotten it from eating this bowl of laksa. Perhaps we were just plain unlucky. Nevertheles

However, the next day my friend and I got diarrhoea which we suspected that we had gotten it from eating this bowl of laksa. Perhaps we were just plain unlucky. Nevertheless, it was a delicious bowl of laksa but not fantastic enough to make me travel all the way from the west to the east for this.
