KOI Cafe was established in 2006 and came to Singapore in 2007. The first outlet in Singapore was in Toa Payoh. Most of the ingredients used in the making of the drinks are imported from Taiwan, in a bid to bring the authentic taste of Taiwanese milk tea to locals.

This is one of the new creations that Koi introduced - among the new flavours are mango, peach and passionfruit macchiato priced at $3.20 for the medium cup. I tried the peach flavoured one and liked it - peach flavour was strong and distinct, and blended well with tea and the gong cha milk which was topped but better when stirred and mixed with the drink. I added 50% sugar but was quite sweet, so would recommend a lower sugar level.

This morning I have gone to this outlet to redeem the facebook's free drink promotion. As there is only one staff serving the counter and making the drinks, she keep saying sorry for keeping me waiting as she is busy making drink. Seldom can see staff like that these days. The drink tastes weaker than the version I have tasted in other outlet this week, but still flavourful.

I haven't drink koi for quite some timeToday walk pass bishan, saw that there's no queue so went to bought 1 I ordered their grass jelly jasmine milk tea for $3.50 i find that now their milktea was quite blend,i requested for 50% sugar but it was still very very sweet which i don't likei like the combinatiion of grass jelly with milk tea but i find that it was too expensiveFor usual normal bubble tea with pearl, small cup it only cost $2.40 but for a small piece of grass jelly it become $3.50,isn't pearl more expensive than grassjelly?Overall i rate 6/10

This is Vanilla Milk Tea and at 30% sugar level because i dont like to add too much syrup inside the drink as it is not really healthy. And the syrup has no health benefits so why not reduce the amount of sugar intake since i'm drinking KOI! Bought at $2.40 at a reasonable price for student. And it tasted great under a hot sun, surely it's cooling and shiok while drinking this..

I don't know if the Koi fever is over, the outlet I went to has no queue surprisingly. Thus, I happily ordered my drink. A scan at their menu, I picked Ovaltine and Fresh Milk Tea something I have yet to try and I am not a Koi fan personally.2 drinks for $6.50 or $6.80, to me I feel it is up the market and I just couldn't figure out why so many people take away more than 2.I prefer the Ovaltine than the Fresh Milk, maybe it is the sugar level. As I wasn't a fan of Koi I thought 50% will be enough but well, for a sweet tooth it is not adequate.
