Bought a Groupon deal for Eat-All-You-Can Ala Carte Buffet Dinner at Nara Japanese Restaurant and it only cost SGD $28 nett (per pax)! there is a huge variety of food here as its a 88 dishes buffet special. I came here with my sister and we absolutely love this place. We ordered quite a lot of food which include salmon sashimi, soft shell crab sushi, tofu, cold soba, tempura, wagyu beef cubes, salmon sushi handroll, chawanmushi etc. I gotta say all of the dishes are up to standard! Especially the sashimi, it is thick and fresh! and for $28 to enjoy such a wide variety of food is really a awesome deal. The ambience of the restaurant is great. The lighting is quite dim and the restaurant is quite quiet. Will definitely come back again even though the usual price of the buffet is abit expensive ($41)

This sushi is really good as the ingredients are fresh and the rice used is really soft and fluffy and not too compact. The makis are not too bad but not special. The set meals here are quite worth the money although they are not cheap but good food at an affordable price is really quite worth it. The set meal is nice and i love it. It also allows you to try a different variety of dishes.

This review is a little late cause they no longer offer the buffet. But nonetheless, I encourage people to grab the buffet deal if it comes up on groupon or deals or wherever againI suppose salmon sashimi is the first go to food when we eat Japanese buffet. The sashimi served was really fresh and the wasabi they provided was nice. We asked for the sashimi to be served on ice cause we preferred our sashimi to be colder. All the other food stuff were really nice.

My 1st time at this Japanese restaurant and i heard lots of good reviews from my friends, thus decided to check it out.Braised salmon- this is on the house!Grilled cod fish! Simply fantastic, best cod fish i ever had. It's expensive for a small piece but worth the $$$.Miso char siew ramen~ an all time favourite of mine. Miso seafood ramen, a nice blend between sweetness from the seafood and mild salty taste from the miso!
