New Asia Bar, perched at the very top of Swissotel like icing on the cake, was a lounge I'd heard about for awhile, but never had the chance to visit. With my good girlfriends Charmaine*and Micaela*, I got my wish fulfilled and we decided to head right there. Located at 2 Stamford Road, level 71, Swissotel the Stamford, Singapore 178882, this bar, voted Top 50 in the world, certainly affords a great panoramic view of the cityline from its height. Call them now at 6338 8585 for reservations. It was dim when we entered, of course - like most bars. Music was pulsating through the air, and the very polite and amicable wait staff showed us to a booth. Lovely chandelier lights beautified the lounge, and happy patrons were either dancing at one corner (the dance floor appears rather small / restricted?) or chatting each other up at the bar counter.We ordered drinks and they were being served along with a large platter of chips. We were here the other night to chill out at New Asia Bar, which is conveniently located at cityhall. Was told that the view up there was fantastic, but it was not breathtaking; Ku De Ta, comparatively, has much better views. Nonetheless, ambience was good and not too noisy. The heineken bottles were luminous and glows under UV light, so it was pretty cool. We had champagne, cranberry vodka, which were all good. $30 cover charge.

My friend bring me here to chill. This is located at level 71. I wanna try something new, so i ordered their Mango and chilli new Asia Bellini. It tasted a bit like passionfruit more than mango, I can't really taste the chill. But tasted not bad, New Asia is a worth a visit, as u can see night view,chill & relax. Great atmosphere, I like siting at the bar,as I can see them making the drinks.But price is expensive

When I went to equinox at swissotel, I thought it was very high up, apparently new asia is one floor higher at the 71st floor. Unlike equinox, which is a restaurant, new asia is a very nice and modern bar. They served all kinds of alcohol. I ordered my usual Margarita as I know it would go wrong. you can order pizza to go along with your drink. the pizza choices are quite wide. my friends and i ordered the prawn and crab meat with spicy tomato sauce (Pizza New Asia) and homemake smoked ham and pork bacon with sour cream. the pizza taste so good, so glad they have new variety other than those you have at pizza hut and canadian pizza. The prices are a little steep but for the splendid view, I think it is worth the money. It is so nice to just unwind from the busy hectic days.

When my cousin came down from Malaysia for a visit, my brother and I brought her to New Asia Bar in the evening for drinks. They have a wide selection of drinks and many which I've never seen elsewhere before. I had a difficult time deciding upon which drink to order and finally, I succumbed to the Chocolate Vanilla Martini which sounded too good to resist!The Chocolate Vanilla Martini is a concoction of Ultimat Pure Vodka and Cacao White and is blended very well to serve as a great combination!At $19 a glass, it might be a tad pricey but it's all worth it when you see the view! Located on the 71st floor, you'll be offered a breathtaking view of the city skyline which overlooks Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer among others. Definitely a great place to watch the F1 or to just go and chill at!!!
