I love peanut pancakes, but am quite choosy about them. This place meets my expectations with freshly made pancake with a peanut filling that is of the right sweetness. The pancake is freshly made so the outside is crispy. My favourite part is the edges which are almost cracker like, as a can peel them off and munch on the crunchy bits. The pancake itself is light and fluffy.

The pancakes here are quite nice! I had a red bean pancake which was freshly made and served warm. The pancake costs less than a dollar per piece making it very affordable. There was a crisp edge and a soft pancake which contrasted with smooth sweetened red bean paste. Overall the combination is very nice together especially when eaten warm. A good option for a quick snack.

looking at the no. of reviews by the side of this store. it seems like it really is the pancake king. many newspaper articles have feature this store, and so i decided to give the king of pancakes a try. i ordered the peanut pancake. a classic pancake thing. haha. the king did live up to its expectation with the peanut topping generous and the pancake soft and slightly chewy. the sweetness was also just right. makes a delicious breakfast.
