Their signature Pandan Chiffon, is made from the purest pandan juice. No artificial paste, pandan essence or colouring are used, only the real juice extracted from the fragrant pandan leaves.
Apart from their Pandan Chiffon, Pure Pandan offers a delectable range of cakes including Durian 24, Banana Walnut and Golden Citrus, which are also made from natural ingredients and pure juices.

A small shop tucked away in Hong Lim Complex, Pure Pandan is unlikely to attract the eye of any passer, however, they do have a small crowd of officegoers buying chiffon cakes. You'd recognise their shop by their bright green 'Pure Pandan' shopfront.The shop is really small, but its big enough for you to see the cake display in the glass fridge-counter and apart from their pandan chiffon cake (which of course, is their signature), they also bake other flavours like chocolate, golden citrus, banana walnut, green tea honey and durian. I absolutely LOVE chiffon cake and while this selection has left me salivating, I'd have to say that my top choice will always be pandan!I ordered one slice of the pandan chiffon ($1.50), it's fluffy and moist even though it has been individually packed. The taste of pandan is strong and the best part is that there are no artificial colorings/preservatives in this sweet treat, which I might add; does not have a cloying taste to it. The green coloring is derived from pandan leaf extract, which is why the green color of the cake seems to pale (literally) in comparison with other pandan cakes. It may not look like much, but its spongey texture and taste is really more than meets the eye.Some may feel that the price of the pandan cake slice at $1.50 is a tad pricey, but I feel that for its natural goodness it's worth it, especially since it has no coloring. It's definitely a better option than a lot out there for its taste + healthiness!
