Rong Yuan Shu Shi Tan (已結業)

Before the Ghim Moh Hawker Centre scheduled for major renovation, I went to Rong Yuan Shu Shi Tan to try their Glutinous Rice. There was no queue and I thought they have soldout, luckily it was still available.The Glutinous Rice was only warm when I received my order. The glutinous rice was not as sticky as others, they were drier version like the Niu Che Shui Famous Glutinous Rice in Chinatown which was now closed. Came for snack before work. Ordered their signature yam cake, glutinous rice and also chee cheong fun. The queue was long but service is fast. I love chee cheong fun the best. The sweet sauce and chilli matched the nicely steamed chee cheong fun quite well. The yam cake is also quite nice. It got yam pieces in it too. The texture is soft and nice. The glutinous rice also nice.

这一摊，一直是我理想早餐的选择。其中的最爱是芋头糕。我喜欢那满满的芋头香再加上那松软的口感，很是美味。我也喜欢那不经意撒上去的青葱，芝麻和葱头酥来使这简单的味道有那一些些的层次感。猪肠份， 也是我很爱的一种选择。那不喧哗的味道再加上那甜酱和辣酱还有一些些芝麻就很有感觉。光滑的卷状肠粉很滑顺也有一定的软度。 糯米饭，是必吃。米的口感适中，也相当稠密。其中的配料有虾米，蜡肠和些些的香姑粒再添加些青葱和炒过的花生就是很完美的组合。早餐，吃得简单但美味， 是一天好的开始。
