Shinsen (已結業)

It's a little disappointing as there's not many review for this restaurant. The food are really nice! Give it a try! I went back for the third time. This time, i had california roll, sauteed duck slices and salad. The california rolls were tasty and fresh. There's crabmeat, avocado, egg and cucumber. Yummy and refreshing! The salad were fresh and tasty as well. Last but not least, the duck. It was really soft and tender. A tad too salty but it was really nice.

Came back here for more of their food! I had their curry rice as main. The rice is abit too hard for my liking. I can taste some uncooked rice. The ebi are pretty fresh. Crispy on the outside and juicy and sweet on the inside. There's also potato and carrot cubes in the curry. The curry is mild spicy, great for people who can't really take spicy stuffs. Service was great too. All in all, i'll still come back for more perhaps on their sashimi again!

A Japanese cafe style food outlet in Novena square. I was shocked by their prices, it was pretty on the high end. Anyway, we decided to try on their food. I had their black pepper beef rice. The presentable of the food was pretty nice. The rice is those sticky Japanese rice. The black pepper beef cubes were well marinated and delicious. The meat isn't too tough and it is just nice. All in all, i can say the food is not bad but if the price can be a little cheaper would be good.

There's no crowd at all perhaps due to the pricing of their dishes. We headed in as i was craving for Japanese cuisines and decided to give here a try! I ordered my favourite salmon sashimi and swordfish sushi. They are really fresh! The salmon sashimi are cool, fresh and sweet. The cuts are really great. The swordfish are nicely cut and fresh too. Service and ambience is great. Will definitely head back here again!
