So Pho at JEM is quite the spot if you like Vietnamese food lah. I tried their pho beef soup — broth clear and fragrant, beef tender and fresh, slurp until shiok. Portion also quite generous, good for lunch. Service there fast and friendly, staff also smile and polite. Place not too big but clean and simple, air-conditioned so comfortable to eat. The price is very reasonable and won’t hurt your pocket. Overall, So Pho is a solid choice if craving authentic Vietnamese flavors without traveling far. Good for quick makan with family or friends, can come again anytime lah.

Every time I eat here the food is consistently fresh and delicious. The soup always arrives piping hot with fresh noodles and tender beef. I usually skip the spicy version since its a bit too fiery for meHowever, the regular soup is perfect plus I like to adjust the spice myself with the condiments provided. The beef spring rolls are absolutely amazing definitely a must try! The staff here are friendly, the place is spotless and they handle the crowd well. The drinks are tasty too. No wonder this has become a family favourite spot for some people like me haha!

Went there a few months ago and I love it! 😋 Each dish was packed with spices and a great mix of vegetables that came together for an amazing flavour. It might not be the most visually striking, but the taste more than makes up for it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming too — definitely a place I’ll be returning to!

I always get the Pho Noodle Chicken Soup with chicken chop, and it was comforting and flavorful. The broth was light yet fragrant, and the chicken chop was tender with a nice char. The summer rolls were fresh and packed with a tasty mix of prawns, grilled chicken, and chicken ham, making each bite a perfect balance of textures and flavors. A satisfying and well-rounded meal.

For me Pho is all about the broth, if it’s good the rest normally falls into place. I’ve not had a good Pho in awhile so I decide to check out the So Pho chain. The menu has most of the common Vietnamese dishes. I order the combo Pho with sliced beef, brisket and balls and also a Vietnamese drip coffee. The Pho arrives in no time along with the bean sprouts, chilli and lime. I add these to the bowl and then as with all Pho’s I eat I take the spoon/ladle and take a sip of the soup. And as expected it’s mediocre, it doesn’t have the Pho taste and is too salty. I say expected as I’ve come to terms that it’s going to be awhile till I find a good Pho. Overall the noodles, beef balls, brisket and sliced beef were also OK. As for portion size it’s average but I must say there was a generous amount of slice beef. The Vietnamese coffee was good. I’m going to give the taste a two due to the saltiness of the soup. For service I’ll give a four as the staff were attentive and smiling. If anyone has recommendations for Pho please let me know.
