I happened to pass by café cartel and decided to head in for dinner. i flipped open the menu and was spoilt for choice. I decided to order their hot pasta. They have two kinds of pastas, one is the normal kind the other which I ordered is served on hot plate. I ordered the Tender Chicken with Bacon and Cheese pasta. it was really delicious, however when they served it, it was splattering like mad. I had to lean back or else the sauce would stained my shirt. As a whole, it was really delicious. T

Do you know that Cafe cartel also offers breakfast in their menu? It is always good to start the day with a hearty breakfast. After going through the menu, I decide to go for a simple breakfast set then came with 2 eggs, hashbrowns, sausages and beacons. I called this the typical Amercian breakfast. Enjoying the hearty breakfast while sipping a cup of fragrantly brewed coffee definitely kickstarts my engine for the day.

This waffle ice cream look not very nice.The waffle is not crispy enough.It is soft,so i not really like it.The ice cream is also just normal,nothing special.As the ice cream is already sweet,so i dont prefer to add the honey.But as this waffle is soft,it taste nicer if eat with honey but not ice cream.

Had a slice of Café Cartel’s carrot cake for dessert. The cake is soft but in a somewhat bad way. It’s not fluffy, which is the way it should be, but the cake was just too moist. The dampness, probably due to heating up a rather cold cake, just spoiled the texture of the cake. Taste wise, it was pretty acceptable but definitely better ones out there.

the photo of food shown above is the Mushroom Aglio Olio spaghetti I ordered from cartel cafe. I simply like the overall combination. first it is not too salty, second it is not too oily. the ingredients like shitake mushroom, red and green capsicum, onion and spices all are my favourite food. like it!

there are a variety of drinks at this cafewe ordered Berry Berry Blast Smoothie and Blueberry Milk Shake.the berry smoothie were great wasn't too sour. it was sweet. it was served with some berries on top. rather generous.as for the milk shake.. it was served with berries as well and whipped cream. mild sweet taste.

I decided to have the original honey rib as they are having a promotion where all ribs are going at $11.80.(:Was told by my friend that it was a very big portion, and no doubt, she is right. Their Strawberry Cheesecake is basically one of my must-orders whenever I go there, especially after 9 for their half price promotion. The cheesecake is smooth and I love the real strawberries on top which aren't too sour for my liking. Just in case you don't know, they offer free flow of bread too, which I really like to have together with the butter heh. Hope the promotion lasts as long as possible!

A treat from my sister i like the bread of cafe cartel is free flow,so can take as many as we wantthe bread is very soft,i find that other of their food is just so so tried their chicken cutlet set was crispy but very salty overall i rate 5/10
