I ordered the fried kway teow with the special fishcake for breakfast. I asked for extra chilli. The kway teow tasted quite hard and dry. It was quite tasteless too. If it is not for the chilli, i could not even finished half. I still did not finish it. The fishcake tasted not bad but a bit oily. I paid $2.50 for it if i remember correct. I do not think i want to go back again.

I have bought a packet of the fried kway teow noodles from this outlet, which surprisingly the taste was note too bad. The kway teow is chewy and not too oily, and very fragrant as well. Like the blachan chilli provided here which is tasty and spicy. Price is reasonable and the staffs here are quite friendly as well. The stall is quite clean and lots of choices of foods are available at their display counter.

A convenient kiosk located just outside Bishan MRT station for a quick stop for takeaway meals. Somehow, the craving for economic noodles hit me and I decided to grab a box of fried mee hoon with loads of sambal chili at the side of my portion. I added an egg as it'd be cheaper.. this means to say that ala carte fried mee hoon on itself would cost $1.20 whilst fried mee hoon would only cost $0.50 when you purchase an ingredient, in this case, I chose a fried sunny side up ($0.50).. So the total cost was only $1. The mee hoon was really tasty though simple and budget.
