The Emerald Bakery (已結業)

A very traditional bakery tucked in the clementi distreet. It's olden looking brown shelves had caught my attention as I walked passed the shop after my breakfast.Where most franchises are selling at $1.50 each, Emerald bakery offers them at a attractive pricing as most of the items cost not more than a dollar.Custard Bun costs $0.80 and was surprisingly good. This bread shop is just next to the coffee shop at blk 325 in Clementi. They bake the breads and cakes themselves. Once you step in the shop, you can smell the aroma of the breads if they just take out the breads out of the baking oven. The price of breads is cheaper than the bread that you can buy from BreadTalk or FourLeaves. But the quality of the bread is almost the same. They have Milk Powder Bread, Lemon Cheese Bread, Egg Mayo bread, Char Siew Bo Lo Pau and etc which I think is special. I
