Located in the middle of B2, the icing room stands out with its pink accented decorations.Serving cakes, macaroons and other sweet delights it is a heavy for girls of all ages. Ordered the raspberry cake which looks absolutely gorgeous. Taste wise i found the hazelnut taste to be a little clashing with the raspberry tartness.The macaroon soft and not chewy. Definitely not worth the $2 which u are paying for it. Ordered a blackcurrent macaroon at $2.00 each. They have 7 flavors in total. The blackcurrent macaroon is pretty normal with the usual crispy crust and soft chewy insides, bursting with rich blackcurrent flavoring. The raspberry cake cost $5.20. First time trying icing room's cakes! We had a chocolate cake which was really good! The cake sponge was soft and fluffy and the cream was fresh and smooth. The cake contained pieces of canned cherries which provided contrast in flavour. In addition, the strawberries on top, chocolate curls, and macaron shells on the sides added to the overall flavour of the cake and made it really nice to eat! I am attending a makeup workshop by ZA in Orchard Road. During the break time, we are each served a chocolate chip muffin from this shop. Lots and lots of chocolate chips on top the muffin.
