Uncle Sam's Claypots used to have one of the best claypot dishes around, back in the 90s. They serve clay pot rice , noodles , etc dessert as well e.g chedol, buboh cha cha, I had the thai boneless chicken claypot rice and my partner had the boneless chicken claypot rice. The difference for the thai boneless chicken claypot rice, it is spicy and it doesnt have the chinese wax sausages , in each claypot rice is also a reasonable serving of green vegetables and mushrooms. The boneless claypot chicken rice, chicken was tender, rice was a bit burnt (just nice for a claypot rice). 繼續閱讀

This is my first time here for lunch. Since its speciality lies in claypot rice, I decided to order its boneless chicken claypot rice. The service was quite prompt and my dish arrived quite fast. The claypot consist of marianated chicken, vegetables and some slices of chinese sausages. The chicken well-marianated and it is not too tough to bite. I love the rice because it is well cooked and flavourful. However, I think the portion of chicken can be increased, because it seems to be too little. I also ordered the ice kachang which is quite normal in my opinon, and I would advice you to go outside for dessert because it is not worth buying ice kachang here. 繼續閱讀

This is a restaurant that is famous for its claypot rice but it serves other food too such as laksa and chicken soup.I ordered the boneless chicken claypot. It contains chicken, mushroom, vegetables and Chinese preserved sausages. The chicken and mushroom is tender and well-seasoned. One of the best thing of claypot rice is the burnt and crispy rice at the bottom of the claypot. You have to scrape the claypot to get it. However, I am not really a fanatic of that so I just tried a little. The rice is well cooked and fragrant. The ice-kachang is pretty normal like the usual ones found in Singapore. However, it has lots of red beans. 繼續閱讀

Looking at the menu and their restaurant layout, the food look nice.Went the food arrived really C.M.I (Cannot Make It) man! So deceiving!!!The only food that taste nice I bet is the finger food dish that they served – the steam version of the peanut. The food court claypot rice is nicer than theirs! I had only 1 bowl serving of it, don’t want to waste calories on such food.If you are not a great cook, I think you can cook better than theirs too! This claypot crab bee hoon is just a Maggie mee version and I think some brands of Maggie mee soup has better taste than this crab bee hoon soup! This is a place that I WILL NEVER STEP IN AGAIN.The bill was $36.25 and for this amount, I can eat a lot of decent food at the food court beside The Uncle Sam’s Claypots. We left the place with hunger still.Setting: 4/5Service: 3/5Parking: 4/5Menu: 3/5Taste: 1/5Price: 2/5 (It is not justifiable to the quality of food they served.) 繼續閱讀

Nice big portion and nicely charred. It comes with chunks of salted fish too! simple awesome.Their service here was nice. Waitress were patient in explaining their menu Ambiance wise, its a perfect place to spend your evening away in this quiet restaurant. 繼續閱讀
