Never had a chance to visit the sweetie’s house after working, I lost my childhood naïve. This world was too practical and bitter, coming to buy some sweets was not a bad thing sometimes. Finely renovated store, it appeared pretty attractive. Umeya sold a huge range of sweet snacks. To be honest, these kinds of dried fruits and plums were the superb appetizers to bite during boring office hours. Strong sourly scent upon stepping in, I guessed people like plums will fall in love with ambience here. Price was indicated nicely on the transparent boxes, customers were allowed to try little pieces of plums. What I bought back to office, they were in wonderful packing. Chewy and sour, the taste satisfied my craving. Good to try, price was $7.80.

If you like to have preserved fruits and snacks, then you will love Umeya as there are a huge variety of preserved snacks for you to choose from. For me, If I happen to pass by bishan, I would drop by Umeya to get some preserved snacks like sour plums or sweet plums or some other items. You can just get 100g of the items and it makes a good snack. But at times, with so many varieties, it was a bit diificult to decide what I want.
