Huge plates of western food are being served as I walked past AMK food centre. As I surveyed round the area, seems like many people are enjoying the western food here. Out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try since I dunno what to eat for dinner. The combination reminds me of old skool type of western food where I used to eat during my childhood days. Crinkle cut fries, baked beans, sunny side up and pork chop = old skool! Unlike most of the western food these days with potato salad, garlic bread, mashes potato and pasta as sides.Love the texture of the pork chop! Well marinated and grill to perfect texture where it's not too tough for chewing. Sauce is great as well!

Half Chicken with rice, baked beans and coleslaw for $4.00. It sounds rather reasonable but the taste wise is quite a disappointment.This set is supposed to come with french fries but you can opt to replace the french fries with rice like what i did. It would be nicer if it is butter rice but apparently it is just plain white rice with no taste.The chicken was a little bland but rather crispy and most importantly, it was not oily.The lettuce, baked bean and coleslaw did not look appealing, so i left them untouched.
