開飯介紹
The brand was founded in 1953, when the first shop opened along Bugis Street. The shop prospered with its servings of homemade kaya, toast bread, soft-boiled eggs, fresh brews of coffee and tea, and warm service. Wang Café aims to be a source of thoroughly positive and beneficial dining experience that helps diners relieve their nostalgia. 繼續閱讀

I really enjoy the milk tea from this Wang Café outlet as it is much more thick in texture, which in more creamy and the tea flavour is very fragrant as well. Moreover, the counter staffs are also very friendly as well. The service is quite fast here so I prefer to buy from this stall as lesser waiting times required when queuing up for it. This outlet looks trendy and not too squeezy. Moreover, the price is reasonable and affordable for all age groups. 繼續閱讀

Nice little place to chill out. The tables and chairs are old school. It's neat and tidy and clean. Had to wait a long time for the kaya toast to arrive but otherwise it's all good. Service is efficient and polite. The kaya toast was really good. Salted butter was used and you can taste the salted butter! The balance of the butter and kaya was great. The kaya itself was very well balanced although a little bit too sweet. But it was very fragrant. Overall very good toast and coffee for reasonable prices! 繼續閱讀

It's been a while with the hype going about Nex. I was here last Sunday with my family. But still, it was rather crowded and since we just wanted to have a quick bite, we settled on Wang Cafe. As the usual of what most people would order typically, we had coffee with the traditional kaya toast. The coffee was well-brewed but the right amount of milk and sugar added. But sadly, the kaya toast was just barely passable. It was slightly burnt with miserable kaya spread on. The auntie who served us at the counter was rude and unfriendly. 繼續閱讀

Went to their new outlet for breakfast at Nex serangoon and try their "cha siew bao". I find their bao was okay and with generous meat fillings. Only that the spice that mixed with the meat was abit strong in taste. If they could cut down the spice, then it will make the bao taste more nicer in terms of taste and smell. The bao dough was soft and fresh and the cha siew bao was served hot. 繼續閱讀

Nex is a very big shopping complex. After walking a few floors, my legs need a rest so we decided to have a cup of Teh C at Wang cafe. It was not crowded but the tables are a bit cramp together as they try to maximise the space area. If all the tables are occupied, there would not be much walking space. I had the teh C and it was quite good. You can taste the flavour from the tea and it was not too sweet. The thickness of the tea was just right and the texture was smooth. This outlet's standard is good. If you happen to be there and need a rest, put this outlet in your list. 繼續閱讀
