I love my chicken cutlet very crispy! And both north and south canteen have very crispy chicken cutlet offerings for about $3 or so! I added spaghetti thinking it was a side dish but I was so wrong! Total was $4!! I felt like I was cheated since the uncle asked if I wanted pasta but I didn't know it was considered a main dish not a side dish! Without the pasta and if I had picked a normal side dish like mash potatoes, the total would've been $3.20. The pasta was okay, nothing fancy but it satisfies my cravings for pasta

Today having Chicken Chop ($2.00) as it looks more freshly made. I also selected 2 sides (additional 2 X $0.60) coleslaw and fried rice. So total costs $3.20. The chicken chop seems to have reduced in size a lot, but still juicy and tender. The fried rice is rather dry and cold. The coleslaw is also too dry for me and abit too much vinegar. I would like more dressing for it.

$3 for Spaghetti set meal Nanyang Polytechnic's South Canteen always have cheap and yummy food!I'll rate this plate of spaghetti... 7/10 You can choose to have 2 side dishes.I chose fillet and coleslaw!!The spaghetti was warm, the sauce was quite cold... so I guess it will taste better if everything is served hot Fillet was awesome!! Coleslaw was quite niceeee Totally worth my 3 dollars!!The aunty is kind and nice. Environment was okay. Will definitely order again!!! (For the fillet and coleslaw, HEHE!!)

I tried the fish and chips. I must say that the appearance looks pretty good. Like the batter is fried very well and is crispy and golden brown. The issue with it is probably my personal preference. I kinda felt that the fish is under-cooked cos the flesh is not exactly the powdery white flesh but instead sort of half translucent yet with tinge of white. The other complaint is that the flesh is very thin. Too thin! I think I eat more of the batter than the fish. Then again, if you like the crispy batter more than the meat of the fish, you may just like this dish.

(plus a side dish: pasta salad)The spaghetti looks quite small in portion so i added on a side dish which is pasta salad. The spaghetti is not nice, the sauce is watery and no tomato flavour. The pasta salad is better coz it is cold and appetizing, but still not delicious.Always dont opt for the western food at this north canteen.
