Was here meeting my friends for lunch at Vivo. My friends proposed to have our lunch at this food court as we can get to choose from a wide variety of food. One of my friend actually recommended this bak kut teh from this stall. Yes, i do like their bak kut teh. It was the kind of bak kut teh that i liked. It was not those kind of strong bak kut teh. It was rather clear, light and peppery taste. It was really nice. And was really happy that their soup are free flow! Isnt that cool?! .

I had two bowls of this Bak Kut Teh. It's one that is very peppery. This shop is popular because of it's pepperish soup.So i decided to try on it. It's from some traditional recipe from Old Balestier Road. The meat is tender and juicy. The add the whole garlic in the soup, this make the soup taste nicer. It is also pepperish. It is some kind like the soup we drink during chinese new year.It is really delicious. But today's rice is a bit on the dry side. Since it's Bak Kut Teh, just add the soup in to make it softer. The pother side dish also quite ncie, like xian cai.which is salty vege.It is very good appetizer.

I think their Bak Kut Teh are pretty well execute despite I tasted light MSG content in the soup broth.Nevertheless, it's one of my frequent in Vivo food court. Not because it has excellent Bak Kut Teh, but it has ample seats in it's private section in the crowded food court area.Their Bak Kut serving are moderate, just nice for a person serving.Soup base is not the kind of peppery version, but more to clear crisp bak kut flavor.More enjoyable to have it with fried dough fritter than white rice for me.Salted veggie are pretty good here. Not extremely salty, but also with some sweetness at a right degree.Oh yes, soup are free flow. You can request for top up if you're not satisfy with just a bowl.
