I was walking around jurong point with my girlfriend. We headed to kopitiam for dinner. I ordered their western food. As we were finding seats I noticed people eating the western food, the portion very big so decided to give it a try. I ordered their fish and chip. It did take some time for them to prepare the food. When it was served the portion was indeed large. The fish was really fresh and the meat was very juicy despite being deep fried under tremendous heat. There was baked beans, coslaw and fries for the side dish. The baked beans portion was a lot. The sauce was not too sweet and the beans were very soft. The coslaw was quite simple though, normally coslaw will have cabbage and carrots but this only had cabbage so it was pure white in colour. The fries were the crinkle cut kind, it was very soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. As a whole it was not too bad.

I had the chicken chop set which came with fries, baked beans and coleslaw. The chicken chop was pretty average and thankfully not too dry. There's nothing too special about the sauce used but I like the hint of pepper taste. For a regular western stall, I have to say their fries were pretty well-fried. I do not like the kind of fries they use to be too soft or too hard and they served it exactly the way I like it. (Its probably my luck though. My sister had very over-fried ones). The plates they use are overly big which made it really hard to share those small Kopitiam table with my family. Anyway, it was very average and not too filling. Probably not worth the money.
