Here's the counter, that you order and pay for your food, and beside it as their dessert display. Everything in there was screaming my name. But I had to resist all temptations and calorie intake, in preparation for Chinese New Year!

1. Cheese Madness Fries $8.90

Having tried their truffle fries before, which I felt was a bit on the expensive side, we decided to go for their more wallet friendly Cheese Madness Fries. When it arrived, the sweet aroma of the cheese sauce was overwhelming. I had all about a split second to snap this photo, before we devoured it. The cheese sauce was smooth, creamy and sweet. The fries themselves though not soggy, were slightly soft and yet crisp on the edges. Totally worth the exceeding my carb intake of the day!

2. Honey Crispy Wings $9.90

Having tried this before, I knew I had to get it again. However between this and the buffalo one which you pay $2 more for, this is the clear winner! It is slightly sweet and super crispy and the meat on the inside is tender and juicy!

Why travel all the way to Kovan for those Honey Paprika Wings when you can have these too, without queueing for an hour!! For $10, it's reasonable and you will realize that 8 just ain't enough!

3. See-Food Spaghetti $15.90

I'm totally on a see-food diet at the moment and this was the one for me. The seafood itself was fresh, the prawns were pretty big and crunchy. However, it didn't "WOW" me.

All in all, a great choice for all you seafood spaghetti lovers! With squids, mussels and prawns all together in one hot piping spaghetti dish!

4. Bratwurst Pizza $13

Having tried their Super Mario pizza 3 times, I finally decided to try something else. This was another good pizza. The Bratwurst was juicy and added alot of taste to their super thin and crispy pizza crust. Sadly however, I'm still going to go for Super Mario again the next time I visit. The mushrooms of the super mario was the wow factor there. Here, the bratwurst was good, just not fantastic. For $13, you get 6 slices which is great for sharing.

5. Rainbow ice cream with Waffle $13.90

Having stalked Hang Out Cafe's instagram, I knew I had to try this! The waitress had forewarned us that it was going to take some time for this dish to be ready, so take note, if you plan to have this after your mains. Let them know early! It was so pretty and tastes just as good! The rainbow ice cream was creamy and smooth. The bananas with the oreo crumbs added sweetness to the waffle. The Waffle itself was crispy and fluffy on the inside. Definitely my kind of waffle.

So here was what we shared for our fabulous dinner!

For $52, it's pretty decent, for this amount of yummy food. To be honest, without the discount, it can be a bit pricey, depending on the food that you order and take note, we did not order any drinks either.

All in all, a great place to chill in the nearby Ang Mo Kio/Lentor area
