I can count my number of trips to Punggol, it is actually less than 3 times till date as I am living in the complete opposite side of Singapore. It took me almost 2 hours to get there after taking multiple public transports. However, I was glad that I made it there. The restaurant is just situation next to the river side . It took me almost 2 hours to get there after taking multiple public transports. However, I was glad that I made it there. The restaurant is just situation next to the river side . You get to see the view of the river side if it you take the seats outside. What drawn me was also the crab models on the shelves that the boss have made it himself. It is quite eye-catching as you will be able to see it when you enter. The dishes at Uncle Leong that left me an impression, in particularly the Shimmering Sand crab and Crab Bee Hoon. Their signature dishes. The crabs were huge though. What I loved about the Shimmering Sand crab was the light-textured sauce and the oat that was sprinkled on top of it . I actually scooped some sauce into my bowl and was dipping my crab in the sauce the whole time when I was having it. The other Crab dish that I left me satisfied was the Crab Been Hoon. The soup was flavourful with the sweetness of the crab. Other dishes that I liked was the Deep Fried Tofu. It was really fragrant and tasty. I left with a satisfied tummy. No doubt that I will be back there again. Perhaps to try their other crab dishes.
