I love mellben in amk and this is my second time to this outlet in serangoon. Tucked away in the corner near the famous chicken tze char next to broadway photo studio is this quiet mellben.. Their specialty tofu at $10 is soooo good! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside!!!!! I need more of this!Salted egg crab We ordered my fav butter crab and salted egg crab.. At $58 per kg the two of us spent $137 lol but thank goodness for groupon vouchers nonetheless.. Gone are the days when it was $30

Gone are the days when it was $30/kg at mellben just a couple of years ago... The butter sauce is exactly the same as the one in amk but sadly the 1.1kg salted egg crab was way fresher than the 1.0kg butter crab.. Interestingly the waitress didn't ask us if we wanted a female crab with roe.. Whereas at Ang mo kio.. The waitress would ask you to pick...

Pretty empty for a weekday night..All in all, it was a great meal. And I love my mellben crabs!
