I have always wanted to go Oriole Cafe & Bar after reading the many raves of this cafe online. It is conveniently located just outside 313 Somerset!They are having this set lunch promotion from $16 onwards, from Monday to Friday. The set lunch promo gave us a choice of starter(soup or salad) and main with a complimentary beverage. Very worth it! As I wanted to try the Tagliatelle Beef Cheek which was not included in the set lunch, we decided to order 1 main, 1 set lunch and an additional drink.

We chose the smoked duck breast salad as starter and my mom had the Char-grilled chicken with sweet potato fries as her main and a iced lemon tea.
The smoked duck breast salad makes a good simple starter for us.
My mom was happy with her main and the sweet potato fries were so yummy!
The beef cheek tagliatelle consist of red wine & citrus braised beef cheek, mushroom, pasta and shallot oil. I love the juiciness and tenderness of the beef cheeks
I had to try their coffee after hearing it is owned by Singapore's National Barista champ! As always, I love to see the latte art on my coffee and the sweetness was just right on my taste buds! This cafe has a very cosy ambience and I will definitely be back!
