I was in the area for the famous prawn noodle but the shop is still closed for Chinese New Year till 22 February. The best alternative is the coffee shop directly opposite. I decided to have bak chor mee from this supposedly famous noodle stall. I was given the selection of $3, $4 or $5. I decided to go with $3. The noodle served with minced pork, sliced pork, liver, braised mushroom and a fried dumpling. The liver was quite a thick piece but it did not cook thoroughly due to its thickness this

I decided to have bak chor mee from this supposedly famous noodle stall. I was given the selection of $3, $4 or $5. I decided to go with $3. The noodle served with minced pork, sliced pork, liver, braised mushroom and a fried dumpling. The liver was quite a thick piece but it did not cook thoroughly due to its thickness this time. The vinegar taste was a little overwhelming but the mee pok was cooked nicely to give its the springiness.

This was not the best bak chor mee that i ever tasted.
