Decided to buy the baked rice from Bang Deli for lunch. The baked rice is filled with cheese, chicken and mushrooms. The baked rice was surprising soft when I scooped up the first bite. It was over-baked in my opinion. I could easily swallow it without biting as though I'm eating porridge. Even the chicken could be cut up easily using a spoon. Decided to buy the baked rice from Bang Deli for lunch. The baked rice is filled with cheese, chicken and mushrooms. The baked rice was surprising soft when I scooped up the first bite. It was over-baked in my opinion. I could easily swallow it without biting as though I'm eating porridge. Even the chicken could be cut up easily using a spoon. I'm not a big fan of porridge and naturally didn't like how soft the baked rice was either. However, the cheese did taste good. The top layer of baked cheese is very thin and and lower layer of cheese is relatively diluted and soft. It did taste like cheese but not too strong on the cheese flavour that it makes it easy to get sick of. The chicken is a little too salty for my liking and the mushrooms did not have any taste at all.
Overall, it was very average and bland. Considering that it costed $3.80, its definitely not value for money. I'd rather buy the other food items Bang Deli has to offer that's cheaper and tastier.
