It's an after-birthday-dinner chit-chat session, my fren recommended us to go Chocolate DeStenation near Marche as she's a manager of the chain. By the look of it we thought it's an expensive cafe and the 1-for-1 Hot Chocolate sign wasn't attractive enough.To our pleasant surprise, it's even cheaper than starbucks but serves traditional Italian confectionery. I always hate hot chocolate for it's too sweet for me, while some other places serves what tastes like made from instant powder packets. However this one @ DeSte makes me want a second cup! It has a thick melted chocolate layer on top, but the whole thing doesn't taste too sweet, u know the kind tat doesn't make you thirsty.
We ordered a truffle cheesecake too, it doesn't taste like our usual cheesecake but it's nice nevertheless.
Creme Brule Tea (Hot) was good, great for a chatting session. But the Affogato was unexpectedly disappointing. According to my fren who ordered it, the ice-cream was too sweet and doesn't taste blending with the espresso. I only looked at it but I feel that TCC one would taste better.
Quickly go grab the classic hot chocolate while promotion last! I already crave for it.
