Whenever the lunch crowd gets too crazy, I always turn to the slightly expensive option just to skip the waiting time. Thai Express is my favourite place for clear tom yum soup, spicy glass noodles and curried soft shell crab. I am not a fan of soft shell crab, so I usually just order another dish and steal the sauce from the bf. Their curried sauce is more the Japanese sweet kind, and cooked with egg. Its perfection right in the sauce, and it goes with everything.
If I'm extremely hungry, I always order an extra side of prawn toast. I have attempted making that on my own and am proud to say I have succeeded. So it may seem slightly pricey to pay for it, but its an extremely messy affair. So whenever I have the craving, I would just order that too.
Good food and don't miss out on their avocado shake, its a MUST!
