It used to be one of my prefer choice for braised duck rice in the northern part of Singapore. When eating it today, it did not taste as good as i remember. I did not see the same lady that used to man the stall. Perhaps there was a change of hands and if it is so then that very much explained the significant drop in the standard. I used to remember they served braised peanuts too but there was no sight of it today. A set with braised duck meat, tau kwa and half of braised egg is $3.50. I would
A set with braised duck meat, tau kwa and half of braised egg is $3.50. I would very much prefer to have the duck meat chopped in a much bigger pieces. Nonetheless, this is not the cheaper nor the best braised duck rice but it is still slightly better than the average.
It is still not too bad a bad choice if you are here and wanting duck rice.
