Had breakfast with my mom at Coffee Bean on a Sunday morning. We went there early around 8.30am as we expected a large crowed but the place was so empty, just one or two persons in the cafe. The crowd started forming around 9plus am.All breakfast set included a drink, choice of coffee or tea, with free refills till 11am. Had breakfast with my mom at Coffee Bean on a Sunday morning. We went there early around 8.30am as we expected a large crowed but the place was so empty, just one or two persons in the cafe. The crowd started forming around 9plus am.All breakfast set included a drink, choice of coffee or tea, with free refills till 11am. When I saw the breakfast menu, I knew I had to try the Salmon Scramble set ($8.90) as I'm a die-hard salmon and eggs lover! I ordered for my mom a Brek "O" Day Set ($8.50) and top up a little more to try the Scottish Breakfast Tea Cappuccino. I find that the tea cappuccino tasted more or less like the yin yang milk tea, not much of coffee taste.
The Brek "O" Day set consist of chicken chipolata sausages, scrambled eggs, salad, and toast with butter and jam. The Salmon Scramble set consist of scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast and salad. The salad tasted really good! It's a combination of lettuce, cherry tomato, dried cranberries and toasted almond flakes tossed in a light lemon juice and oil dressing. Even my mom who dislikes vegetables actually agreed with me and happily finish the whole salad.
Overall, it was a good experience
