I was treated to a sumptuous buffet lunch at Marina Mandarin Hotel Aquamarine Restaurant for my birthday. It was really value-for-money as we went for the 1-for-1 deal. Here's a glimpse of some of the food available at the buffet.Most of the food served were of great quality. I like the Japanese section and desserts section very much. Most of the food served were of great quality. I like the Japanese section and desserts section very much. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh & tasty. I asked the chef for a plate of mixed fish sashimi, & he gave me salmon, swordfish & tuna. Frankly I always only dare to eat salmon sashimi but the swordfish & tuna were really fresh & delicious too! I didn't regret asking for a mixed plate. My colleagues helped themselves to a lot of the fresh seafood available too. At the desserts section, the most attractive food to me was the Durian Pudding hehe. It was quality durian! Of course the ice cream too, especially the yam flavour! Some of the food that you may miss include: the rojak, as the sauce was too salty and the youtiao too tough; the char siew puff; and the beef at the first cooked food section which was quite tough.
