Visited Swensen's again! My buddy decide that he'll treat this time so I went ahead and ordered a good looking Juicy Game Hen with Homemade BBQ Sauce ($16.90), which was more than amazing! The succulent young game hen was fried and roasted for a perfectly golden brown skin, with tender juicy flesh enough to easily be separately from the bone! My buddy ordered another attractive dish, the Crispy Cornflake Chicken ($15.50). Some tender succulent moist boneless chicken is hiding behind the crispy coat of crunchy golden cornflakes. Every bite was full of flavour and texture, simply irresistible!
We also got ourselves The Rock ($9.50) to share! It comes with 3 signature flavours of hazelnut, cookies & cream and rocky road, garnished beautifully with marshmallow sauce, hot caramel, cocoa pops and wafers. Dry ice was beneath the dish that also created the smoky-icy look when it was served, it was very interesting!
Overall, I enjoyed myself to the fullest at this outlet whereby I received friendly service along with prompt arrival of food. Portion and quality of food matches their prices as well.
