Few weeks back, I did some last minute CNY shopping and decided to stop by BreadTalk for a bite! Was surprised with the wide variety of breads they had in the theme of CNY! The usual me being adventurous, decided to try their new items! I had one mandarin-flavored orange bun and a humble potato bun. The mandarin-flavored orange bun tasted a little weird to my disappointment. Felt more like I was eating an orange-flavored doughnut than a bun. The dried orange peels would have tasted better on its own. On the other hand, the potato bun I tried was average. I guess some of their new items does not taste as good as it looks! =S Safer to stick with their signature products no?
