Went on a diet recently and decided to have a bread and a egg-tart for lunch!Passed by Crystal Jade and decided to try it since it's reputable! Doubt things can be bad!At first glance, the pricing of the breads was abit expensive. Most of them cost around $1.50 and above. Nonetheless, i'vde decided to give it a try!I've picked a sweet potato bun (cheapest - $1.30) and an egg-tart ($1).
Their service were quite good, they greeted me when i stepped in the shop and thanked me when i did my purchases!
Forgot to took pictures of my egg-tart. It's abit different from those "western" egg tarts cause the skin of the egg-tart is like chinese crust pastry, more flakery, crisp. The egg-yolk on the egg-tart is also quite okay! Quite reasonable! As for the sweet potato bun, as you can see, they are not stingy with the potatoes and it's just nice, not too sweet nor blend! I've tried those bread shops near MRT stations sweet potato bun but find it abit too sweet.
I guess i will go back for repeat purchase since it's comparable with breadtalk!
