They always have a gorgeous selection of cakes, tarts and other pastries but I didn't know that Canele also serves mains, until today. I ordered the Pesto Pasta with Prawns and the presentation looked really good in a large white bowl. However, the pasta was way too salty. There was so much salt that I could barely even taste the basil pesto. They are probably better off just sticking to cakes and pastries. I ordered the Pesto Pasta with Prawns and the presentation looked really good in a large white bowl. However, the pasta was way too salty. There was so much salt that I could barely even taste the basil pesto. They are probably better off just sticking to cakes and pastries. Also, the staff at the cashier was sporting a really bad mood that day and didn't seem like she was interested in preparing our bill at all. Bad service + bad food = never ever gonna come back here again.
