Dr Cafe is one of the many new coffee joints muscling into the coffee retail industry here in Singapore. They are decorated similarly like a typical Starbucks cafe, and serve almost similar hot/iced coffee beverages at slightly lower cost. They are decorated similarly like a typical Starbucks cafe, and serve almost similar hot/iced coffee beverages at slightly lower cost. They also have a special fruit cocktail blends, and I decided to try their Strawberry cocktail (Tall size- $4), which according to the menu, will only be available for a limited time. The strawberry cocktail was really refreshing- it is a cold drink with fresh strawberries blended in the drink. The strawberry taste is really natural- not the sweet syrupy kind but the natural one with a hint of sourness from typical fresh strawberries. Besides the fresh blended strawberry pulp, there's also some strawberry seeds present which you can chew, together with the blended ice. A highly recommended drink! The cafe is also a nice place to hang out and chit chat with friends.
