Found out about this place through a friend a couple of months ago. It totally changed my opinion in regards to chinese soups and since I have never looked back!Great variety of soups which also includes Herbal Chicken Soup(My favourite). The Herbal Chicken Soup is served hot with or without rice. It is apparent that the herbs they procure are of certain quality as you can taste it's potency. However, the herbal taste and smell is not overpowering and balances well with the tender texture of the chicken. I'm not sure if it's a mature hen or normal chicken; but it doesnt matter it's really tasty.
A hidden gem that might not catch your eye on first sight is the Mei Cai. It it savoury with a touch of sweetness and tang to it. It smells extremely pleasant and it's not overly soft and mushy therefore giving it a firm consistency. It goes well with rice by the way.
Service is excellent. The stallowners even added in extra information on what health benefits certain soups can have.
A really good find!
