Decided to head to Sunday Market for dinner since it’s just walking distance from my house! Pretty crowded on a Sunday evening. Waited for quite a while before we got seated. Cafe filled with quirky furniture and has that market feel due to the decorations. It has a bar top filled with baskets of things from glass bottle to free apples! Decided to head to Sunday Market for dinner since it’s just walking distance from my house! Pretty crowded on a Sunday evening. Waited for quite a while before we got seated. Cafe filled with quirky furniture and has that market feel due to the decorations. It has a bar top filled with baskets of things from glass bottle to free apples! But surprisingly, not many take the free apples!

The menu has quite a decent variety of food choices. Food is pretty unique and creative. Kind of fusion style with asian flavors as the main character and infused it into the various dishes. But all prices are subjected to 10% service charge and prevailing GST.

Cafe Mocha ($5) and Skinny Wings & Truffle Fries ($6.90) served with Aioli and Thai chilli sauce. Lack of truffle taste for the truffle fries, but skinny wings is not too bad. Crispy and well marinated with herbs.
Seafood Aglio Olio ($14.90): Mixed seafood spaghetti tossed with chilli oil and topped with fish flakes. Pasta is al dente with crunchy prawns. A lil towards the spicy end. The fish flakes are like the shredded cuttlefish tidbits that we munch on while watching tv but undergone deep frying! Didnt add much flavour to the pasta i guess, probably just there for creativity or unique form of garnishing.
Crispy Duck Leg Confit ($17.90): Served with baby potatoes, salad and drizzled with orange brown sauce. Crispy outer skin but a lil tough on the meat. Meat not as soft or melt in your mouth kind, unlike Saveur. ):

Smoked Salmon & Avocado ($14.90): Not the usual sweet dessert waffle but the savory style. Topped with salmon, avocado and cream cheese ice cream. Pretty much like the cream cheese ice cream, kind of creamy smooth and has a salty note. Exterior of waffle is not crispy but interior is kind of fluffy and waffle itself is kind of plain. But paired with the savory items, it’s pretty alright. Not an astonishing dish but quite an interesting burst of flavors.
For some creative food experience but definitely not those mouth watering dishes that you will expect.
