I loved Japanese food and I find that Ichiban Sushi serves a very good quality japanese food items at a very reasonable price. To me, it was much better than Sakae sushi. We met up with a friend at Toa Payoh and since we all loved Japanese food, we went for Ichiban but as it was dinner time, we had to wait for early 15 minutes before we got a seat. The food items served were all very fresh. We did not order any main dishes, instead we had the small itemson the small plates like sushi and sashimi

The cold tofu that we had was fresh and because it was cold, it taste very nice especially with the sauce. You can taste the soya bean aroma. The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and delicious. Good quality food. Must try.
