We went shopping at 313 Somerset and when it was time for dinner, we decided to have it at Din Tai Fung as we were hungry for its xiao long bao. It was not very crowded perhaps because it was even 6pm.We were quickly led to a table and after settling down, we placed order for our food which comprised of xiao long bao, soup dumplings, fried rice with egg and 2 starters. The xiao long bao was nice as the meat and juice was thinly wrapped by flour and you have to eat it with the vinegar and ginger

The xiao long bao was nice as the meat and juice was thinly wrapped by flour and you have to eat it with the vinegar and ginger slice, in order to bring out the full flavours.
The fillings of the dumplings was very generous and it was satisfying. The 2 starters that we had was nice, especially the cucumber starter. Not all outlets have this starter. We also ordered dessert (see photo). It was nice and steaming hot. A wondeful finish to our meal.
