Was craving for beef, hence seeing the Jack's Place 'set lunch' deal, me and my friends decided to try their food.I ordered their Sirloin steak with garlic flakes, while my friends ordered the student meals. The serving for me is pretty small, I have to grab some of my friend's fries to be thoroughly full. But the beef, is simply delicious. I have my beef medium rare, and it's really so bouncy and tender to eat! I was pretty sad when I have finished it, if only the serving was bigger!
There's veges, corns and mashed potato as well. Somehow I love the corns! But for the mashed potato, it has too little gravy. I'm not a fan of garlic but the garlic here are fried and actually taste pretty good. You can mix in with the beef, veges, corns or even the mashed potato, a little hint of garlic smell.
The set lunch has soup of the day, tea/coffee and a dessert as well. The dessert was some slice of cake, marvelous!! Cost 12.50++ which I think is pretty worth for a good plate of beef!

I love their beef.
The waiters there and friendly and came up to ask us whether the food are okay as well. Double thumbs up!
