Yayoiken restaurant is nicely situated right at the entrance of Meidi-ya supermarket at Liang Court. I decided to have my dinner here as i was attracted by the colourful display case of their food (plastic models).I ordered a saba miso set as i simply love this dish and i will always order it wherever it is available. My saba miso is really good! The saba is well-braised in the miso sauce that the miso flavour is presence in the fish. The accompanied eggplants and beans makes the dish more colourful and healthy. You can eat them plain, but i suggest you to coat it with the miso sauce to get the best taste. =) Nevertheless, the miso soup and the miso sauce is quite salty, but paired with the plump starchy japanese rice, the whole meal is so satisfying!
