The food on the menu at this Hotplate stall looked pretty good and and there were a variety of items such as the Hotplate Sambal Sotong/Prawn Set ($7.50), Traditional Hokkien Mee ($5.50), Hotplate Tofu Set ($6.00) and Hotplate Oyster Omelette Set ($8.50). This was probably considered a mild version. The dish was not very spicy and it was actually more salty than spicy. There wasn't much sauce to go with the meat and whatever little sauce I could scrap off the hotplate was very oily. The chicken pieces though were quite firm and well cooked although the portion given was small for the price. Overall I didn't think this was worth its price tag of $6.50.

The only good thing about the food was probably the fact that it was served really sizzling hot on the hotplate. But you might have to be careful carrying it as the oil from some of the more oily dishes may splatter a bit while still sizzling.
