We tried the Chicken curry cheese set at ichiban. Chicken curry cheese is basically a hot plate dish made up of fried chicken swimming in thick curry gravy with carrots and a slice of cheese ontop. When served, the gravy is already boiling hot, but the fire is still lit so that your cheese can melt. I suggest not stiring the melted cheese in because it tastes better that way. Once the cheese is melted, you should blow out the fire (takes a few tries) to avoid having smoke in your face. The set c

Overall i think the curry version is nicer than the chicken curry. The chicken somehow still manages to retain its crispiness, which is great!

And also because theres a promotion for Japanese Fish Cake ($4 for 4 pieces, takeaway), we bought all 4 different flavours of fish cake. The flavours are: Ebi, vegetable tempura, octopus and squid. I liked the ebi ones best. However, you should eat them soon after purchase as they don't taste as nice cold.
